Dinosaur Museum Fun

O.K. So you have to see these photos in this order because of Kiersten - the dinosaur museum had $2 tuesday so we all went to take a trip and well it was a mad house of kids - they have an erosion table - basically water and dirt that they can wear aprons and play in - check out her hands in this one - its I'm not touching that!! ...and it was for the longest time

If you look at her face this is her deciding to try touching the dirt - the scowl explains it all - then she would flip the mud off her hands eeewwww

She decided all of 5 minutes before time to go that maybe it wasn't so bad :)

Kierstens First Official Day of Dance 8/12

O.K. So technically this is her second day of dance - I went to check into the school and they were starting that day in 20 minutes - well it took me a week to get an outfit that fits...so One week slow - she loves to go and her teacher Amanda

I am the most awful blogger ever!!!

O.K. So I am forever slow at getting this done - but here goes...... here are some from a while ago - I know because Kara is in a 0-3 mth adorable dress from Aunt Emily that she doesn't fit anymore - that how slow I am - these are the kids getting ready for church one day - Evan and Dad got almost identical shirts and tes for Christmas last year I think this is the first photo of them together wearing them - funny thing is I bought Brians and Uncle Steven bought Evans - not knowing they would match - hilarious!!!

So I had the most frusterating weekend ever, ad I feel the need to rant and rave about it - or at least some of the highlights shall we say.....first brian worked pretty much all of it, so kids were dragged to a breakfast I was helping in then I got to run crazy so people could come for dinner - that part was nice - however brian only showed up about 10 minutes before them and while they were here evan decided to play monkey man and hang on one of kierstens closet rods - lets just day the rod is no longer hanging, apparently that wasn't enough because about 30 minutes later he brings me a willow tree figure that we have in kiersten room and says this fell down mom, I'm real sorry, well he had climbed the dresser and the shefl and everything was knocked down, then we go to put him to bed and he somehow had hung on his curtain rod - mostly detached from the wall - he swears that one happened the other day - then sunday arrives...ahh thinking we had prepped - the clothes were ironed, you know dipaer bag packed...low are behold brian has to go in to work again, well lets just say sacrament went so well we ended up in the hallway...then evan had the scripture in primary of course kara had to eat about that time so her is me walking down the hallway bottle in my next baby in one hand car seat in another piled with relief society stuff and diaper bag - so I finish that and kara pukes all through both burp cloths, and her outfit - a little on my skirt - did I mention I was conducting??? thankfully brian showed up 2 seconds before relief society started. so that brings me to today....evns forst day of school, I asked last week when I met with his teacher if school started at the same time on mondays - apparently they do early outs on monday so I was double checking....so she says yes, was going to double check that with the bus system but my phone was out all morning....so we go at the regular timeand wait for 10 - 15 minutes only to have a neighbor to come out and say it starts early on monday too - needless to say I run home throw kids n car seats and race off to construction stand still traffic. Needless to say he was 45 minutes late to his first day of class - I feel like a horrible parent!! So I go to pick him up and hes on a different bus then he should be - apparently his broke down so they were an extra 10 minutes late getting home - thankfully it wasn't more.......I so think today should be over with - maybe tomorrow will be better? Maybe then I will even pot how excited he was to start school - I did manage a picture at home, just not one at the bus going to as WE MISSED IT! well , I really need to go get some kids some snacks - I will post some pics soon - I hope

Kara's Baby Blessing Augt 3rd 2008

Thanks to everyone near and some very far for coming to the baby blessing, it was so great to have family support there for her big day, she looked beautiful thanks to grandma rayna for her dress and lorey for her matching headband - it was all perfect.

24th of July

Our make a wish granter Mandi came out to help us celebrate the 24th of July - she came loaded with ice cream and fireworks which the kids actually watched this time - we all had a great time - thanks mandi :)

Evan Updates

Just a quick update on Evan -he went in for his 3 month check up and is still doing great! His AFP - which is the blood marker in his system is at 1.5 anything up to 10 is normal so great news. To our surprise he got to skip the Cat-Scan this time - I don't think he missed it at all, Brian took the day off work to take him asit usually takes all day and because we got to skip the longest part they made it home in time for lunch

Evan in T-Ball

Evan started T-Ball a few weeks ago and LOVES IT! He is the 2nd Baseman - its really fun to watch because anytime anyone hits the ball all of them run to get it. So they don't really get T-ball yet - but he sure loves to play and hit the ball.

Carleen is Crazy

O.K. here is proof she is just a bit crazier than me.......she learned tis from I think she said atwelve year old - it fits. First relax your face then shake it like crazy while you take a photo - this is the result - you can put someones fist up in the photo and it makes it look like someones punching you- evans didn't work she said it was facing the wrong direction, but you get the idea - hilarious!!! Kiersten and Evan tried it too - butas you can tell so not the same

So my cousin Carleen came to visit us for the fourth of july before she moves to Alaska - it was so nice of her to visit before she moves, the kids had a great time - I think they liked playing with her more than watching the fireworks - Kara slept through the whole thing of course.
